Laboratory ball mill

LABORATORY BALL MILL
This is same as a production ball mill with the smaller capacity from 1 Kg. To 5 Kg. It has got s.s. Drum and balls for grinding. It rotate at 80 r.p.m.It is a tabletop model. It is used in laboratory for preparation sample batch for R & D.

Pencil hardness tester

. PENCIL HARDNESS TESTER
Pencils of various grades of hardness are moved over the coated film on metallic sheet at a specific angle and pressure. The test to be carried out in accordance with Wolff-Wilborn. The degree of hardness of the pencil, which damages the coating, is taken as a measurement of scratch hardness. Pencils having hardness grade from 6B to 9H are
Used.

Tubular impact tester

TUBULAR IMPACT TESTER
This test also called as “ Falling Weight Test.“ This test is used for evaluating impact resistance of a coating to cracking and peeling from a substrate when it is subjected to a deformation caused by a falling weight.
LAB-FINE Instruments is manufacturing this instrument as per DIN and ASTM
Standard specifications.

Flow cup viscometer

FLOW CUP VISCOMETER

Viscosity cup hold a standard volume of liquid, which flows through an apparatus at bottom. Lab-fine Instruments controls the mechanical dimensions to the very-very close to the perfection on which volume of liquid is controlled. These cups are made from gun metal, stainless steel. The results are expressed in time in seconds for the liquid to flow through the orifice until the first break in the liquid stream observe

Fineness of Drinding Gauge

Fineness Of Grind Gauge
Fineness of grind gauge is used to indicate the fineness of grind or the presence of coarse partials in a depression. It is a flat corrosion resistant stainless steel block. There are two flat-bottomed taper grooves varying uniform in depth from a maximum at one end of the block to zero near the other end. Groove depth is graduated on the block according to one or more scales used for measuring partial size. The degree of depression is indicated in microns or Hegman scale.
Models: -
*0-100 microns = 8-0Hegman.
*0-50 microns =8-4Hegman.
*0-25 microns =8-6Hegman.

Drying time measuring instrument

Drying Time Measuring Instruments
Scope: - this instrument is designed for measuring the drying time of coating, which applied on paper or metallic panel.
Principal: -A ballpoint is travel on the wet film at a const speed. This speed is proportional to time piece (watch) mechanism. This ballpoint leaves the traveling path on the film. When the coating film start drying it become harder slowly. At this junction the ball get lifted above the dry film and shows the rubbing path on film. After completion of one circle of ballpoint observed the ballpoint path. Mark the starting point and the point of rubbing action, which indicate the drying point.
Least Count: - The least count will be different for every model.
(1) For example: -A model having 12 minutes one revolution.
Least count: -1 division (natural 1 min) mark on gauge =12 second.
(2) For a model having 6 hours one revolution
Least count: -1 division (natural 1 min) mark gauge = 6 min

Density cup

DENSITY CUP
Density cup is machined from corrosion resistant stainless steel material. Cover having an upward taper with small hole at center to ensure that no air bubbles are trap in the cavity. Lab-fine Instruments offers two models i.e. 50cc and 100cc.
